APPLE CIDER SLUSHIE

Ingredients                                    Amount

Local Apple Cider                            ½  C
Frozen oj concentrate                        ¼ C
*GNFF Milk                                       ½ C
All natural vanilla ice cream               ½ C
Banana                                              1
Cinnamon                                          dash

Method:

Combine all in blender. Fill to top with ICE and blend until smooth.

Spinach Artichoke Dip
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 package cream cheese (softened)
- 8 ounces of Fresh Spinach
- 1 ounce Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup artichoke hearts
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 Tbs garlic salt

Apple Peach Smoothie

 

Serves/Makes: 1 

  

Ingredients:
1 fresh peach
1/3 cup non fat milk1/4 cup of frozen apple juice concentrate

Directions:Peel 1 fresh peach. Cut it into thin slices. Put into a plastic bag with a zipper bag, laying flat. Put the plastic bag into the freezer for 1 to 2 hours. Take out 1/4 of the peaches and break them into pieces. Mix in a blender with 1/3 cup of milk and 1/4 cup of frozen apple juice concentrate. Cover and blend until smooth, pour into a glass, and add more peach slices.

Cheddar Cheese, shredded        1 C

2 C OATS
1 C SUNBUTTER
1 C FILLED FLAXSEED
1 C DRIED CRANBERRIES
1 C HONEY
½ C SUNFLOWER SEEDS
1 C DARK CHOCOLATE CHIPS

MIX WELL. SPREAD INTO GREASED 8X8 PAN. CHILL AT LEAST 1 HOUR BEFORE SERVING.

VARIATION: ADD VAN ILLA WHEY PROTEIN OR YOUR FAVORITE DRIED FRUITS.

Sugar                                                                 2 cups (450 g)

Butter, unsalted                                                 4 oz (115 g)

Light Corn Syrup                                                1/3 cup (115g)

Water                                                                 1/2 cup + 2 tbsps

Baking Soda                                                       1/2 tsp

Course or Flaky Sea Salt                                    1 tbsp

Pepitas, raw and unroasted                                1 1/2 cups (200g)

1-2 tablespoons of natural peanut butter, sunbutter or cashew nut butter.  (8 grams protien, 2 grams sugar)

6-8 oz. Chocolate Almond Breeze (unsweetened-0 grams sugar, 2 grams protien)

Combine all in blender until smooth.

  • 1 Tbsp. active dry yeast
  • ¼ cup warm water (110F)
  • 1 ¼ cups buttermilk, room temperature or a bit warmer
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2-2 ½ cups white whole wheat flour
  • 2/3 cups raisi

Bananas, mashed                                           3 ripe 

This is a simple recipe for sweet potato fries.  Not much preperation so it gives you time to spend with your family while you wait for this delicious side to cook

Slice unpeeled sweet potatoes into strips.

Place on greased baking sheet.

Generously toss with olive oil, salt & pepper, and cumin.

Roast at 325° until fries are tender, but not limp,

Allow 25-30 minutes for cook time.

 

Prep time: 10 minutes
