Bistro Kids Cooking Camp At Blue Valley Recreation

Camp description: Alphabet Bakery - ABCD: Letters never tasted so good! In this class jr. Chefs will become fimiliar with ingredients and measuring and have fun with tasty treats. A is for apples, b is for banana and berries, c is for cherry chocolate chip, and d is for delicious! Aprons and chef hats provided.

Camp description: Taste, touch, smell-yum! In this fun camp Jr. Chefs will take ingredients and measuring to the next level, and have fun getting messy! We’ll use all our senses to taste pudding pies, touch yummy dough and play clay, and smell fresh baked breads, muffins, and cakes. Don’t miss the fun-yum! Aprons and chef hats provided.

St. Louis Cooking Camps

Creative Cooking with Bistro Kids

Camp description: Join Bistro Kids Chef Matthew Kern for this cooking camp.  Young chefs will prepare and taste foods from around the world, participate in a food label scavenger hunt.  Develop their own kid-friendly recipes, and record it all in a rainbow journal.  Campers will get out of the kitchen for some art exploration with artist Jesse Thomas, who teaches at the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, Washington University.

Bistro Kids Farm Fresh Cooking

Camp description: In this cooking camp, led by Bistro Kids Chef Matthew Kern, the focus will be on using local farm fresh ingredients to prepare sensational seasonal delights: berry smash muffins, fresh fruit smoothies, yogurt parfaits, furit shakes and more!  Campers will ge out of the kitchen for some art exploration with artist Jesse Thomas, who teaches at the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, Washington University
