Each Bistro Kids Farm 2 School Lunch Program has FUN FRIDAY on site visitors. If your students look forward to Fridays now, just wait till local farmers and food producers bring their wares. On site visitors and off site fieldtrips teach students about healthy food choices before they see new foods in the lunchroom, and enhance the hands on cooking classes they experience in the classroom, bringing learning full circle.

Ever tried on a beekeeper’s suit and protective gear? Ever touched a real buffalo hide? Ever seen how a high tunnel works to grow produce in the winter? Ever tasted Sunbutter®? Ever been to a farmer’s market? Ever picked blueberries or strawberries from a berry patch?
