Each Bistro Kids Farm 2 School Lunch Program School has a garden. Gardens are an important part of teaching students where food comes from. School gardens enhance the Food is Elementary© Nutrition Education curriculum used in the classroom and allow for hands on tasting, learning, and FUN! Bistro Kids Farm 2 School program students know real food comes from a farmer (or themselves!) who grew it in the ground before it gets to the grocery store or the dinner table.
